Rate limits on the Claude Platform API have been increased across the board and the tier structure has been simplified: tiers are no longer tied to API spend. Sonnet and Haiku at the highest tier now offer 5x the previous limits.
Moving up through rate limit tiers happens automatically; users who need a higher limit sooner can manually request one via the "Request rate limit increase" button in the Claude Console.

Fable will be removed from Claude subscription plans after July 7th due to capacity constraints. The team intends to bring it back as a standard subscription feature as soon as capacity allows, consistent with the original blog post.
